Hello fellow Dell Latitude D820 Laptop Owners. One thing I didn't point out in my review of this fine machine, is that there is a very small slider switch along the side of this slender machine, which will TURN OFF YOUR WIRELESS NETWORK and cause your wireless software to report "a supported wireless adapter could not be found". I am providing this information to you so you might be spared the slight nauseous feeling that perhaps you could have a hardware problem with the new machine you just got. Additionally I hope to spare you the hour you'll spend troubleshooting, installing new drivers, rebooting etc. I'm not convinced that I bumped my switch and turned it off, but more than likely a very short and very young humanoid offspring managed to toggle it while I was in the other room. We've had it about 3 years now and I think the warranty expired so I can't go trade it in for a better behaved model. I'll just have to catch it in the act and beat some butt.
