Oh sorry, that's WPF/E I meant to say.  Quite the mouthful of alphabet soup. Would've been nice to have a codename like Orcas tongue-out.  Anyhoo, this is client side technology, meaning you have to install something on your PC for it to work.  That's a big thumbs down for any business case.  However, should this new technology take off, then perhaps it could be bundled with future browser installs, in which case, it would be wise to take note:  Scott Guthrie, manager of all things ASP.NET at microsoft introduces WPF/E here

Scott says "It will allow applications to go beyond what can be done with pure HTML today, and will enable sites to significantly improve the client user experience by blending HTML UI, Dynamic Vector Graphics, Animation and Media into a seamless cross-platform browser experience.

WPF/E accomplishes this by providing a rich graphics engine that can be used on any HTML page and which adds browser support for vector graphics, animation, and declarative XAML UI markup (the declarative XAML format enables search engine optimization of interactive content as well as better authoring via WYSIWYG tools). "

SEO's will note the part about the search engine optimization of interactive content.  Scott does have some interesting examples, so go install the plugin and then check out the examples on scott's blog.

I'm not sure how this technology will add to your bottom line, unless yours is such a product that a better graphical experience is going to convert into more sales.  Anyway, enjoy!
