I noticed Nuggs, our beloved mascot, donned the traditional white-on-black conference garb sometime today, so I'm guessing all is well with our Posse over at the Ad-Tech Conference.  Hopefully the smell of business development is in the air while my fellow nerds and I stay home nerding it up in our nerdery.   Rumor has it I might get a little face time at SES NY.  It will be nice rubbing elbows and Bumpin Uglies with all those I've heard so much about but have not had the pleasure as of yet.  It's days like this when the team is away and the fire is smoldering instead of raging, that one finds time for contemplation, spiritual enlightenment, and slipping a few more Easter Eggs into BOTW.   The recipe is simple:  take something comical from current events or from a recent movie, merge it into some feature, and only have it appear once every 5000 page loads.   For example, around the time that Starsky and Hutch came out, everyone at the office was saying "Do it.  Do it."  so often, that we made the search button say "Do it" once every 420 times.  (I didn't take caching into account, so it's actually far less than that.)  I've seen it twice over the past year.  And I know the office has caught it a bunch of times.

I'm also proud of my Mr. T sponsored custom 404 page, which only appears for certain T related queries, but nobody is ever going to see it except for you reading this post.  Of course I'm in big trouble if this blog becomes popular and my Mr. T page is like, our #1 search result for "Best of the Web".    That would be pretty funny though.  Shame on our crack SEO team for letting that happen.

I think it's almost about time for another hidden feature to be etched into the annals of BOTW lore.  I shall have to give it some thought.
